Vittal, May 15: A staffer of gas agency in Vittal has got himself admitted at the Vittal government hospital alleging assault by a man and his gang.

Kadambu-based Sai Indane Gas Agency staffer Sadananda delivers commercial gas cylinders to shops at Vittal. When he was delivering gas cylinders, the owner of a chicken shop allegedly began arguing with him and hurled expletives leading to an assault by the gang on Sadananda.   

Hindu outfit leader Arun Kumar Puthila who visited Sadananda at the hospital obtained details and urged the police to register a case.

Shopkeeper Abdul Samad who also filed a police complaint in this connection, said that he had booked for a gas cylinder refill for his shop a week ago. Instead of delivering the gas cylinder, the staff member had insulted him over the phone.

The driver of the gas company rushed the vehicle all of a sudden to the veranda of the shop on Monday, May 15, hurled expletives and threatened to kill him.

Meanwhile, Abdul Samad also handed over the footage of the incident substantiating his claim to the police. Police said that they have accepted complaints from both of them.
