Udupi, May 16: The model apartment in Kirthi Palmville was inaugurated by Jayakar Shetty, Indralli, in an inauguration programme held in the premises of Kirthi Palmville on May 14.

K Ragupathi Bhat, MLA, presided over the event. Dr Jerry Vincent Dias, president, Credai, Udupi, Manohar S Shetty of Sai Radha Group of Concerns, Purushotham Shetty of Ujwal Developers, Sudhakar Shetty, former general manager of Oriental Bank and land owner Rajeev Alva and promoters Seema Shetty and Sudhir Shetty were present.

Sudhir Shetty in his brief introduction of the Kirthi Palmville expressed his joy over the launching of the state-of-the-art facilitated ultra-luxury modern apartments for citizens of Udupi.

He said, “This is one of the prestigious projects of Kirthi Constructions. With 2 and 3 BHK ultra luxury apartment in 3 towers of 15 floors each spread over four acres of land, the construction will be spread in 30% of the land, with remaining 70% open space for gardening, park, play area and other amenities. The entire project consists 330 ultra-luxury modern flats, with 10 high speed elevators, generator back up and STP. The cleared water will be used for gardening and other purposes. Water filters are installed, each wing will be with double high entrance lobby, club house building, indoor games and party hall, gym, separate swimming pool for kids and elders, dedicated multipurpose court for the aged between 11 to 18 years, individual video phones at main doors for security, glass cubical at bathrooms and with all high-end products for the construction. We decided to make a model apartment for our clients to have a better experience, through which we can display what we will actually deliver.”

He thanked MLA Raghupati Bhat for all his support during the journey of Palmville. He thanked the land owners who helped to widen the roads for the prestigious project. Sudhir Shetty also said, “We faced many obstacles during the construction of the apartments, but the joy we get at the end while handing over the keys to the clients cannot be explained.”

Jayakar Shetty Indralli after inaugurating the model apartment said, “Kirthi Constructions is known for quality apartments and delivering on time. We have given the company the financial assistance they needed on many occasions and we will be doing the same for their upcoming projects as well.”

Dr Jerry Vincent Dias said, “My first project was constructed at this area. On this occasion, I will salute Kirthi Constructions for their tremendous efforts to widen the approach road to 40 ft. In my initial days into construction 25 years ago, I too had put such efforts. It would great if all builders would come together for widening of approach roads towards the building. May this project expand in the coming years and this place become a new city separately.”

Manohar Shetty said “It will be a proud moment for Sudhir Shetty’s mother, as today we celebrate the Mother’s Day. Sudhir is doing things differently and it is witnessed in all his projects. Model apartments will help the customer to express their interest when they invest so much.”

MLA Ragupathi Bhat in his presidential address wished the construction work to be completed soon. “I wish that the apartments are handed over to clients soon. Such ventures are needed for the development of any city. When constructions activities are in progress, cities will develop rapidly. When such project gets completed successfully, then it will inspire others to come forward and take up such work. I have witnessed personally how Sudhir Shetty follows up work. In fact, road widening and that too up to 40 ft is not an easy task. And this will be a remarkable task by him,” he said.

Arroor Thimappa Shetty, compered the programme and welcomed the gathering. Nagaraj Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.

First few wings will be handed over to the customers by December 2025.
