Kasargod: Police arrest Nigerian woman from Bengaluru for peddling drugs in Kerala

Kasargod, May 17: Bekala station police have arrested a 22-year-old woman, Nigeria-based Afsat Rihanat alias Blasing Joey belonging to a gang that is supplying drugs to Kerala.

Further investigations are under way. She was arrested on the basis of investigations held by the police with Bengaluru as the epicentre.

 

Chattanchal resident couple and residents of Bengaluru were arrested with 150 grams of MDMA drug a few months ago. Police came to know that the drug was supplied to the couple by the Nigerian woman. Police have arrested her from her residence in Bengaluru.    

Police had definite information that drugs were being supplied in large amounts from Bengaluru to Kasaragod. Police had got some vital clues when they arrested a few accused and questioned them. The woman was arrested on the basis of those clues.

    Langoo - Do you know that there are around 8 Lakh Indians In Nigeria? Indians are the largest racial minority in Nigeria. Whereas there are only around 200 Indian families in Somalia.

    Langooji/USA there are enough Nigerians in Banglore doing this trade.Came on study visa?and overstay ed here and doing this business.Its flourishing i Bangalore.From there it is supplied to mumbai manglore ,Goa etc.Its a big business for them since our cops are not controlling or not sending them back.Its a Heaven in India for them .Even some women were driving with drugs and alcohol and abusing Police too.
