Puttur, May 21: Six individuals sustained serious injuries when two cars collided head-on at Piligoodu in Kaniyoor village near here on Saturday.
A Swift car traveling from Beltangady to Puttur collided head-on with a Maruti 800 coming from the opposite direction.
The driver of the Swift car, Mahabala Shetty, and the passengers in the car, namely Anvitha, Manvitha, Mamatha, Asha, and Anni Gowda, who was in the Maruti car, sustained injuries. All of them have been admitted to a private hospital in Puttur.
The Puttur traffic police have registered a case in relation to the incident.
