Haveri (Shiggaon), May 25: Former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai predicted on Thursday that Karnataka's politics would take a decisive turn in the next five months, and the BJP would make a comeback. Speaking to media persons in his assembly constituency of Shiggaon in Haveri district, Bommai expressed gratitude to the voters for their trust and declared that he would serve the people of Shiggaon until his last breath.

"The entire political landscape of Karnataka will undergo a transformation in the next 5 months. The vindictive politics pursued by the Siddaramaiah-led government, targeting BJP workers and filing cases against them, reflects a politics of vengeance," he stated.

When asked about the warning to ban organizations promoting hatred and disrupting law and order in the state, Bommai replied, "Let them ban SDPI first, and then we can discuss banning Bajrang Dal, RSS, or other organizations. We will address the issue later."

Responding to Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar's call for Congress legislators to focus on winning 25 out of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state, the former chief minister emphasized, "We are not staying silent after the defeat in the assembly elections. We will strengthen the organization." He confidently predicted that the BJP would win more than 25 Lok Sabha seats and expressed the party's determination to ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns to power for a third term in the upcoming elections next year.

Bommai further stated that the Congress should concentrate on development, assuring that nobody would object to that. He urged the Congress to provide an administration that is supported by the people and works for their welfare.

Referring to his request to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to allocate portfolios to his cabinet ministers, Bommai remarked, "He replied saying not to worry about it. I am not worried, but the chief minister must satisfy his ministers first." He went on to ridicule the situation by comparing the ministers to newly married daughters-in-law who are not given the house key and have no responsibilities.

Bommai emphasized that the projects approved by his government for the welfare of the people should not be halted by the new government. He emphasized, "The government is not the private property of an individual or any party. It belongs to the people and must work for the state."

The defeated chief minister warned Congress leaders not to underestimate him and confidently declared that they would be disappointed if they believe the BJP will not return to power. "We will strengthen the party. I am ready to fight," he asserted.

Earlier in Hubballi, he criticized the Congress government as a "reverse gear government" for retracting on its five guarantees and introducing new conditions. He questioned, "Did they mention any conditions earlier?"

Looks like unable to digest and accept the humiliating defeat and most importantly loosing the Monach's Throne. Instead of accepting the defeat gracefully and respecting the people's verdict these holy people have started throwing mud on the Congress leadership. Dirty games do not work for ever. All good things will come to an end one day....!!!

BJP is in a fix. If they start goondagiri again, their chances of even 2-3 lok sabha seats is also doubtful. State elections in MP, Chattisgarh and Rajasthan will be decisive and BJP will be decimated. Already BJP is morally bankcrupt because of the rejection of Modi Shah's roadshows. Over and above Karnataka, if 3 more states go in favor of Congress, BJP might be even on a ventilator to breath.

My Future prediction .. I am not a bhakth ..but things could unfold this way .. 1. Congress will make some self goals .Sidhu might be incapacitated due to excessive minority appeasement and spread of communal hatred outside of coastal belt . 2. Discontentment will grow between DKS and Siddhu. DKS would form his own regional party 3. By the time of loksabha election there could Anti incumbency developed towards Congress govt . There will be rampant corruption beating that of BJP in Karnataka.
