Mangaluru: SCS Riverside International Academy, preschool inaugurated at Urwa

Mangaluru, Jun 6: SCS Riverside International Academy and SCS Preschool, the new institutions under the management of Karnataka Educational and Charitable Trust was inaugurated at SCS Riverside Campus, Long Lane, Urwa on Monday June 5.

Dr Rajneesh Sorake, president of SCS Group of Institutions inaugurated the new campus by cutting the ribbon and formally inaugurated the school building in the presence of all trustees, principals and dignitaries followed by the lighting of the lamp by Dr Meena Sorake and Dr Abhinay Sorake.

Dr Rajneesh Sorake addressed the gathering on the occasion and briefed about the journey of SCS Group of Institutions and the thanked the persons behind his success.

Vinaya D’Souza, principal of SCS Preschool welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering. Anusha Shetty, the coordinator of SCS Preschool was the master of ceremony. The teaching staff Riverside campus sought the blessings of almighty through a prayer song. Srimad Bhagavadgita, Holy Quran and Holy Bible were recited by the parents on the occasion to mark the solidarity.

Helen Lobo, principal of SCS Riverside International Academy proposed the vote of Thanks. U K Khalid, administrative officer of SCS Group of Institutions was present.

The programme ended with a talent show of the children.

To mark the World Environment Day, trees were planted in the campus by the children and their parents.
