Mumbai, Jul 20: Actor Amitabh Bachchan's new movie 'Aarakshan' directed by Prakash Jha is a film based on caste-based reservations. Commenting on the movie, Amitabh said that he does not believe in caste system or caste in itself.
He said that if he had ever faced any short comings in life such as failure or rejection, it was only because of his incapability, not because of his caste.
“I think rejection because of incapability is right because if I’m not capable of doing a particular work, the other person has the right to disapprove of me or reject me. Like, I lost in politics because I was not capable, not because I was of a particular caste,” added Big B.
'Aarakshan' is scheduled to be released on August 12. The film is about an idealistic principal (Amitabh) and his loyal disciple (Saif Ali Khan).
