Bangalore: 13-year-old Girl Commits Suicide

Bangalore, Jul 20 (Express Buzz): A 13-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Ambedkar Nagar in K R Puram police station limits on Monday July 18.

The reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained, according to police. The deceased Supreetha was a seventh standard student at St Antony's Primary School at Ramamurthynagar. She was the daughter of Ramesh and Jaya.

According to the police, the girl returned home from the school crying at around 3.30 pm on Monday. By 3.45 pm, she had committed suicide by hanging. However, Supreetha's parents had buried the body, without informing the police. The incident came to light when some of the neighbours alleged that the school authorities were responsible for her death.

"The school authorities have clarified that there was no problem with Supreetha when she left the school and their role in her death is ruled out. It is suspected that something might have happened on her way back to home and we are investigating on those lines," the police gave details.

I think the baby’s parents need to be interrogated properly . She comes home crying at 3:30 pm and commits suicide within a short span of 15 minutes sounds a bit strange !!
Didn’t the parent find out why she was crying !! To add to the confusion the parents had the guts to bury the body without informing the legal authorities – All this sounds fishy
