Passenger Dies on Indigo Flight


New Delhi, July 21 (IANS) A passenger on Indigo's Ahmedabad-New Delhi flight died on the plane en route to New Delhi, airline officials said Wednesday.

The passenger, identified as Pradeep Kumar, 52, was found unconscious on the flight 6E-156, scheduled land to here at 9.40 p.m. He was declared dead by two doctors who were on board. Incidentally, Kumar was himself a doctor.

Approaching New Delhi, the plane informed the air traffic controllers of the incident, and requested a priority landing. After landing, Kumar's body was taken away for autopsy, the official said.
