India test fires short range ballistic missile


Bhubaneswar, July 21 (IANS) India Thursday test fired a new short range ballistic missile from a defence base in Orissa, official sources said.

The 'Prahaar' missile, which can hit a target 150 km away, was tested from the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur in the district of Balasore, about 230 km from here.
