Mangaluru, Jul 5: Mescom linemen face expletives during the rainy season. However, the personnel of Mescom Ullal unit 2, Vasanth Kulal and Suresh have taken their duty seriously, crossed the artificial floods in the fields and provided electricity to forty houses. Mescom junior engineer Nithesh Hosagadde shot a video of their hard work and posted it in social media commending the same.

Power was disrupted to 40 houses at Berike, Belma due to strong winds and rain as power cables came in contact with one another. Mescom linemen Vasanth and Suresh who visited the spot found that the light pole which tripped was submerged in flood water. The staff dived into the water under guidance from a local person, climbed the electricity pole, conducted emergency work and ensured that the power is restored to the 40 houses.

Lineman Vasanth Kulal

Vasanth who has been employed in Mescom for the last several years has received appreciation from the people and the organization for his sincerity and hard work.
