Mangaluru, Jul 6: In a tragic incident at Adappa Residency, Pajeer village, a young woman took her own life by hanging herself from a fan on Thursday, July 6.

The deceased, identified as Preetika Pujari (21), resided in a rented house with her mother and elder brother. Preetika worked at a call center in Mangaluru.

The distressing discovery was made when Preetika's lifeless body was found inside her house around 12:30 noon on Thursday.

She had returned from work in the afternoon and ended her life by hanging herself. The Konaje police have sent the body for post-mortem and initiated an investigation by registering a case.

It is speculated that the cause of Preetika's suicide was related to unrequited love, as she was attracted to a young man who did not reciprocate to her feelings.

Suicide is not a solution to any problem. Kindly seek the help of mental health experts if you are under any kind of distress. Call toll free helpline number 9152987821.

This Girl did NOT understand the Power and LOVE of GOD. GOD has given her a good job at the age of 21 and GOD has given her Beauty, good Looks, Talent, etc. If one BOY does NOT Respond to her LOVE then she should let go and focus on career Because GOD loves Mankind so much that HE can't see people Suffering for a long time and at the Right TIME....... GOD gives much more and much BETTER than what we thought And what we wanted. I'm very SAD for this young girl who ended her life .

Learned and wise people need to save our society by giving their ideas how to stop such happenings. Now that yoga is included in curriculum school can add a subject "emotionally how to be strong". Also not to highlight such incidents.

very sad to see young generation giving into emotions so easily...during my time even if someone said no the boy or the girl will accept and move on...rather they will take it as a challenge and see that they do better than their ex lover...
