Sorry I have a different opinion. Please dont blame the bus driver. Bikers are a nuisance and threat to other motorists. The way they ride the motorcycle/scooter is as if they don’t care for other vehicles/pedestrians on the road. Most of the time they don’t follow traffic rules. When it is one way, they drive their motorcycle in the wrong direction which could be fatal to the oncoming traffic. They don’t wear helmet and speeding/ overtaking without giving signal. They think they are King of the Road and expect others to give way to them and adjust. They don’t follow any traffic rules. Appears as if they don’t care for others. This is my observation during my recent visit to Manipal.

Several times, I have reported in twitter, why there is no speed control on these private buses? Today morning also I heard shrill horns? Y is it so? What is stopping the authorities to install speed locks and remove shrill horns, the way these drivers handle these buses is pathetic they are not fit for driving. They stop wherever they want. Y is not being stopped. I have no idea. Just killing the people.pity

Abolish the private bus mafia in the twin districts of DK & Udupi and see the difference on the road.

Why abolish private buses instead train the drivers on defensive driving and strictly follow traffic rules. Punish and fine the violations with strict punishment & hefty fines. Make laws to obtain drivers licence difficult. Stop RTO agents who help securing driving licence paying bribes.

This is become daily newson our DK, Udupi districts roads...we are a over populated country and don't value human life. Very sad situation.....!!!???... guilty drivers should be in jail for ten years on murder charges without bail and made to pay heavy compensation to the victims families.
