Puttur, Jul 27: The mortal remains of a person were found in decomposed state at Panglai here. The person is not yet identified. Locals who saw the dead body near the bushes, informed the police.
The team of police led by inspector Sunil, who arrived on the spot, did the spot inspection and shifted the mortal remains to the government hospital. Ambulance driver Dayanand of Adarsh Hospital and locals helped in shifting the body to the hospital.
It is suspected that the mortal remains are of a local resident.
