Miami, Aug 5 (IANS/EFE): Puerto Rico's Don Omar reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Latin Songs chart this week with "Taboo", an urban reworking of the lambada.
"Give Me Everything", by Pitbull with Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer, dropped to second place on Latin Songs, where rankings are based on radio airplay.
"You", a solo effort by Aventura lead singer Romeo Santos, climbed from fourth to third, trading places with Jennifer Lopez's "Ven a bailar", featuring Pitbull.
Veteran Mexican rockers Mana vaulted from No. 10 to No. 5 with "Amor clandestino", the second single from their "Drama y Luz" album.
Prince Royce kept the top spot on Billboard's list of best-selling Latin Albums with his self-titled CD, while "Puros Trankazos", an anthology of Mexican regional favourites performed by various artists, climbed from sixth to second place.
"Drama y Luz" remained in the third spot, followed by Italian trio Il Volo with "Il Volo: Edicion en espanol", which moved up one notch.
Spanish crooner Enrique Iglesias' "Euphoria" climbed from eighth to No. 5 on the Latin Albums chart.
