Kadaba: Chandrashekhar lodged in Riyadh prison likely to be released soon

Daijiworld Media Network – Kadaba (MS)

Kadaba, Aug 19: There are chances that Chandrashekhar, native of Kadaba, who is lodged in Riyadh prison, due to the plot hatched by bank account hackers, will be released soon.

The amount that was transferred from the bank account of Chandrashekhar by the fraudsters needs to be paid back to the woman who has lodged the complaint and a NOC needs to be obtained from her. If the NOC is provided to the police and prison authorities, Chandrashekhar will be released. Chandrashekhar’s friends in Riyadh are on the job and are hopeful of obtaining the NOC soon.

Chandrashekhar had given his thumb impression when he went to buy a SIM card and mobile phone in November 2022. The hackers used the bank account of Chandrashekhar and got an amount of 22000 Saudi Riyals credited to the account that was hacked from the account of a woman. Later, they got the amount transferred to some other country.

Chandrashekhar was arrested as per the complaint filed by the woman, who was conned by the fraudsters.

As far as my knowledge concerned no one can open bank account in GCC without civil id proof and passport visa copies. Catch the person who opened the account. Check the bank CCTV footage Also check sim card shop who obtained finger print impression. Why catching innocent guy when the powerful person behind this scam?

Thanks to God finally he will walk free... Release of the young man upon payment of the money he did not cheat is something undigestible... Fortunately amount is well within the capacities of his friends n relatives... Supposedly if the amount was large what would be his fate? Will the Saudi police not investigate the owners of the shop who sold the phone n sim to him?... Probably justice for him would be better served had the incident happened in UAE... Saudis are only bothered about their nationals and others are still near nothing there except for goras and football players...

Most likely the shop owner is a Saudi national. Shop is not leased to any expatriate as they do in many cases. So the police must have been too lenient without thorough investigation.
