Lady Gaga's dead ! : Facebook scam

London, Aug 7 (IANS) A scam doing the rounds on social networking website Facebook claims that singer Lady Gaga has been found dead in a hotel room.

To warn people about the scam, computer security firm Sophos has released a statement, reports msnbc.msn.com.

"If you are tricked into clicking on the link, you are taken ultimately (via a website which sloppily allows an open redirect) to a webpage that pretends to contain a BBC News video report," senior technology consultant Graham Cluley said in a blog post.
