Ekta Kapoor Pays Rs 30,000 Fine at Mumbai Airport

Mumbai, Aug 8: On her return from Bangkok, tv serial producer Ekta Kapoor was detained at the Mumbai airport for not declaring items in her baggage.

Ekta was allowed to leave only after paying a fine of Rs 30,000 plus duty taxes.

Sources say that Ekta declared that she was carrying items worth Rs 8 lac. But on checking, the custom officials found that she was carrying items worth Rs 10 lac.

Recently, Minissha Lamba, Anushka Sharma and Vikram Lamba had been detained by the custom officials.
