Mangaluru, Sep 13: The initial screening of Konkani film ‘Lucky Draw 777’ following the sold-out theatrical screening took place on September 10 at Kirem Church Hall. Given that the film was shot in this very community, an impressive turnout of over 600 parishioners graced the event.

Wilfred Monis compared the stage programme.

In a speech to the audience, Magneto, the director of the movie, thanked everyone for their love and support, expressing that his wish to screen the movie in Kirem after the premiere is held.

Fr Oswald Monterio, Fr Apolinaris Crasta, Fr Praveen SVD, Fr Alex, actors, crew members and others were present.

Fr Oswald Monteiro, also expressed his thoughts and congratulated the young filmmakers.

During the interval, a lucky draw was held for the audience to engage them in the show.

Melwin Pernal led a small feedback session after the show, where people gave their feedback and suggestions on the movie, and the best reviews earned him a prize.

A third show is expected soon from the team.
