The chief guest of the valedictory programme Dr Rekha P D spoke about the importance of human creativity and innovation in tackling new challenges in research. She enumerated the ineffectiveness of using AI tools in research and numerous ways in which the researcher would lose his capability of analysing the output of research because of lack of in-depth knowledge. She urged the researchers to reflect on their experiences, make conscious efforts to learn, improve and to adapt to think and rethink while dong research. The chief guest’s address served as a reminder to all researchers that although technology and AI tools are aids in research, it is only the human brain which can lead to research advancement and application.

The guest of honour Shubha Rekha, statistician and dean of academics, St Agnes College (Autonomous) Mangaluru connected all the researchers to a wealth of statistical knowledge, which was truly acknowledged by all the participants.
