Mangaluru: Police commissioner directs unisex salons to follow govt guidelines

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Sep 23: City police commissioner Anupam Agarwal on Friday warned that stringent action will be taken against unisex salons if they are found to carry out unlawful activities inside their facility. He also warned them of strict action if they failed to take trade licence and follow other guidelines laid down by the government.

Agarwal said, “We have received complaints that some unisex salons in the city are conducting unlawful activities. In the wake of this surprise raids were done on 14 saloons.

“Salon owners should get a police confirmation certificate of all their employees. The details of all customers need to be recorded. Otherwise, strict legal action will be initiated,” he said.

The above is a very personal opinion based on information available in the public domain; kindly do your own research!

Very good order, but mu suggestion is Police staff must visit in civil dress regularly and civil dress and dark rooms must ban. Mostly nowadays almost all saloons north east boys and girls are working. And our P Com also visit suddenly without in forming his staff And vehicles drivers. I think the ride news should not leak.
