RIP! One of the worst power utility company around; just see the quality of equipment that they use; absolutely no safety mechanisms; haphazard wiring, lowly installed high voltage, junk quality transformers, open junction boxes with live wires, half baked contractual labor technicians..... the list is long! The children of the couple have ample reason to sue this killer of innocents for crores of rupees; in fact all those who have perished in recent years due to such accidents should get together and file a class action lawsuit against these killers of innocent people!! Worst than a third world place!!

MESCOM should bear responsibility and must compensate this family with blood money, as overhead wires snap because of poor quality and no parallel steel cable foreseen to tie down the live wires from coming down to the ground endangering human beings and animals.

Very sad.Couple lost their lives.Who will answer for their death?Who will lookafter their children if any?Only if one would take responsibility for lieing live cable around without notice?Very sad to hear such news of poor people die without their mistake. But kindly in future each one should look around not to come in contact if any live cable lie around. Please dont touch without wearing chappels or near water ,on trees.May their souls rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to their family.

Look at the photos - one can speculate the area as marshy, a place where snakes and many other dangerous reptiles reside, on top of that people have to take precautionary measures stepping on right path - leave aside identifying the colour of the dangling cable (wire). However, time of the unfortunate incident is not reported (day or night). Blame game must've surely begun (we are famous for that) but loss of two precious lives can't be brought back or compensated. To early to jump into conclusion. Time will tell who is the culprit.
