Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School organises open house

Mangaluru, Oct 9: Open house for the first term examination of classes 1 to 12 was held in Lourdes Central School on October 7. The principal and staff invoked God's blessings to begin the open house session in the school lobby. Principal Fr Robert D'Souza delivered an introductory note and guided the teachers to approach the parents with positive assumptions and to be solution-oriented.

The parents interacted with the teachers to discuss the progress of their wards. The class teachers and subject teachers spent time with the parents of each student and apprised them of the progress of their kids and also the areas where more efforts expected from their wards.

The ambience of the school was set so as to make the parents to have a positive feeling. The parents and students were welcomed with the attractive captions on the Bulletin boards and classroom blackboards. The vice principals Belita Mascarenhas and Anita Thomas met the parents of students who needed special attention towards their academics and personal development.The productive discussion was held between them andthe children were guided to perform better in upcoming examinations.

In the end, the parents had a fruitful day having met the teachers and sharing the concerns about their children and having a constructive discussion about their progress.

On the occasion of silver jubilee year, all parents were given a gift as a token of love and gratitude.
