London, Aug 24 (IANS): Lady Gaga will make a guest appearance in an episode of "The Simpsons" and she describes it as one of the "coolest" things she has ever done.
"I make music, but I don't do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humour," femalefirst.co.uk quoted the 25-year-old as saying.
"That's what I was trying to focus on, not putting on a character too much and really being as sincere as I could with the lines. I would say this is one of the coolest things I've ever done. My dad's probably going to do 80 back-flips when the episode comes out," she added.
The singer voices an animated version of herself in the popular cartoon comedy series, and her episode will feature her arriving in Springfield and trying to cheer up Lisa Simpson.
"This is extraordinary! I'm stunned that she has time in her schedule that she's coming to our studio to record," said Yeardley Smith who voices Lisa.
Gaga will make appearance in the episode titled "Lisa Goes Gaga" and it will be aired next spring.
