Rangina Rangoli 2023 will be conducted in two categories - below 16 years and above 16 years age category. The contest is open for all.

Udupi, Oct 25: A vibrant burst of colours and creativity is set to grace this Deepavali at Udupi as Daijiworld Udupi, in collaboration with Kishoo Enterprises and St Mary's English Medium School (CBSE), Kannarpady is all set to organize the eagerly awaited ‘Rangina Rangoli-2023’, a rangoli making competition on the occasion of Deepavali, the festival of lights. This event promises to be a celebration of artistic talent, culture, and community spirit, bringing together participants of all ages to showcase their creativity through the age-old tradition of rangoli.
The competition, which is being organised for the fifth time, will be held on Sunday November 5, at the premises of the St Mary’s English Medium School, Kannarpady.
The competition will be held in two categories. Below 16 years and above 16 years category.
General rules for ‘Rangina Rangoli’ competition:
• Rangoli design should not exceed 4*4 ft. in size.
• Maximum 2 hours will be provided to complete the Rangoli.
• Only powder (colours) has to be used in the competition.
• For creative designs, additional weightage will be given.
• Participants needs o bring their materials for the creativity.
• Participants should submit their birth certificate/Adhara card copy through email ID contestdwudupi@gmail.com
• Participants should report to the venue on the competition day by 9.15 am.
• Last date for registration October 31, 2023
The first, second and third prize winners will be awarded cash prizes along with trophies and certificates in each categories. There will be three consolation prizes also. All participants will be given certificate of participation.
