Mangaluru: Daijiworld TV set to present total Tulu musical extravaganza 'Padarangita' on Oct 29

Mangaluru, Oct 25: Daijiworld TV’s much-awaited mega stage show of Tulu songs, comedy and dance ‘Padarangita' will be held on Sunday October 29, at 5 pm at Don Bosco Hall here.

The show comes under the year-long activities of Daijiworld TV's decennial celebration. The channel which started in 2014, has earned popularity and become a household name in the coastal region in a span of few years. The unique shows aired on Daijiworld TV became the talk of the town due to their creativity and presentation. The unbiased news hours and panel discussions made the channel more trustworthy in coastal Karnataka. The channel also catered to the three major languages Kannada, Tulu and Konkani in its prime-times. The channel has also engaged in various social activities and helped the needy on priority.

'Padarangita' will be a complete Tulu show to be held for the first time in Mangaluru. Known singers Sandesh Babanna, Ravindra Prabhu, Mohammed Iqbal, Sowmya Bhat, Prakash Mahadevan, Roopa Prakash, Dharini Kundapura and Tanushree will entertain the audience with their melodious voices. Internationally acclaimed musician Rajgopal will be music director of the show.

Known actor Prashanth CK, Yakshagana artiste Sundara Bangadi and stand-up comedian Arpith Indravadan will present rib tickling comedy acts on stage. Known TV anchors Chetan Shetty and Sharmila Amin will compere the show. Entry to the show is free.
