Mangaluru, Oct 26: A young man hailing from the city passed away in Salauddin, Dubai, due to a sudden cardiac arrest on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Akhtar (27), the son of Mohammed. He was a resident of Vidyanagar in Panjimogaru, near Kulur, and had been employed in Dubai for the past seven months.
On Sunday, Akhtar was resting in his room after completing his work hours. When he did not wake up, his roommates checked on him and tragically discovered that he had passed away.
The office bearers of KCF and Irfan, the brother of the late Akhtar, have arrived in Dubai and are in the process of arranging for the repatriation of Akhtar's remains to Mangaluru.
Akhtar is survived by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
