New Delhi, Oct 27: Nupur Goyal is a truly a ‘never give up’ character. She failed in four attempts of UPSC exams and secured AIR of 11 in her final attempt in 2019.

Goyal was born and brought up in Narela of Delhi. She completed her engineering degree in electronics and communication. She did her post-graduation from IGNOU in public administration. Nupur’s uncle was her inspiration. She made an attempt at IAS but could not succeed. But Nupur decided that she will give it all out and get though UPSC.

Though Nupur got through prelims and final in 2014, she failed in the interview. In the second attempt, her performance was still worse as she could not even write the prelims. Interview debacle got her stuck again in the third attempt in spite of clearing prelims and finals. Her fourth attempt also ended in failure.

Nupur joined the intelligence bureau after her fourth attempt at the IAS. Meanwhile, she had only one attempt left at the UPSC and decided to give it all. She cracked the exam with an impressive AIR of 11 in 2019.

Nupur says that those who aspire to become IAS or IPS officers should not give up their dream till the last attempt. She also advises to read the newspapers without fail to keep themselves with latest updates on all subjects.

What a waste of engineering seats, these people should actually go for IES Viz Indian Engineering Services but figure out its easier to score in IAS and Ultimately the degree they have and the work they do have very little in common
