Sullia: Praveen Nettaru murder case - NIA announces reward for information on accused

Daijiworld Media Network – Sullia (MS)

Sullia, Oct 28: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials have announced a reward of Rs two lac each on the information of three accused in the murder case of BJP leader Praveen Nettaru of Bellare, who are absconding at present.

Naushad (32), a resident of Poyyegudde of Padangadi village of Beltangady taluk, Kalakandoor Abdul Rahiman (36), from Somwarpet and Abdul Nasir (41) are the absconding accused.

It may be recalled, Praveen was hacked to death by bike-borne miscreants on July 26, 2022 in Bellare town of Dakshina Kannada district.

The case was initially registered at the Bellare police station but was re-registered by the NIA later. The case was handed over to the NIA as it is suspected that a well-organised network operating from Kerala is behind Hindu activists and BJP workers' murders in the state.

NIA being an Independent entity has full authority and under hand backing of centre to enter any state especially non BJP ruled states to arrest and investigate opposition leaders. So, what’s stopping NIA from entering Kerala and arrest Praveen Nettaru’s killers since it knows that they are hiding Kerala, unless it’s a cooked up story to fool people, whereby his murderers are none other than BJP activists themselves.
