Bantwal: Obstructing govt duty – PDO files complaint against eight gram panchayat members

Bantwal, Oct 31: A PDO filed complaint against eight gram panchayat (GP) members for gheraoing the gram panchayat office without any prior notice and also obstructing duty of government servants. This incident occurred at Sajipamunnur.

Eight gram panchayat members supported by SDPI gheraoed Sajipamunnur gram panchayat without any prior intimation accusing PDO Laxman of misusing power. They also prevented Meenakshi, Mohammed Harish, Nalini and Sumana, staff of gram panchayat from entering the office. In addition, the accused also forcefully took the keys of the office from the staff.

PDO Laxman filed complaint on gram panchayat members Aboobacker Siddique, Jamaluddin, Fatima Saun, Fauzia, Sabeena, Raziya, Sajid and Wahida Banu with city police station.
