Dublin, Nov 5: The first-ever Konkani Movie was premiered in Ireland, enchanting the audience with a captivating experience. The movie, titled "Osmitay," which translates to "Identity," delved into the rich history and heritage of the Konkan community. It was screened at the Light House Cinema in Dublin on November 4.

"Osmitay" took viewers on a remarkable journey, tracing the coastal regions of Mangaluru and Goa, connecting them to their roots and origins. The film's soundtrack resonated with the hearts of the audience, celebrating the linguistic heritage of the Konkani language. It emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the Konkani language, culture, and tradition.

The credit for this remarkable cinematic achievement goes to Bab Eric Ozario and the Mandd Sobhann Team, who poured their efforts into creating a meaningful movie that touched the hearts of Konkans worldwide.
