Mumbai, Aug 29: Salman Khan who was scheduled to fly to the USA for treatment of his facial nerve problem could not make it as his trip got cancelled due to the hurricane attack on the country on Saturday August 27.

Salman would have been missing his Eid celebrations with family and also the release of his movie ‘Bodyguard’ as he was scheduled to leave later this month.

It is learnt that Salman has decided to go in for a second opinion for the treatment of the facial nerve problem.

Sources said that, “Salman is in extreme pain. Every time he eats something extremely hot or cold, the pain intensifies. His jaw region hurts a lot.”

According to reports, the star had the pain for over seven years. Reports say that he used to get spasms on his face.

Just last week, Salman was rushed to Lilavati hospital in Bandra. Yet another source close to the star said, “His pain was too acute. Salman, who is normally a very tough guy, was almost screaming. The doctors at Lilavati suggested that he visits Saifee hospital in Charni Road. At Saifee, he was advised to undergo angiography.”
