Kasargod: 51-year-old woman found hanging in residence

Kasargod, Nov 11: The woman was found hanging in her house at Nalka Birmoole near Perla in the district on Friday.

The deceased is identified as Yashoda (51), wife of Narayana Patali, a resident of Birmoole. Two sons of the couple are abroad and daughter is married. Sister of deceased Yashoda, who is afflicted with polio, also lives with the couple.

Narayana Patali had been to daily wage labourer work in the morning on Friday. When he returned for lunch, he saw his wife Yashoda hanging. Though neighbours rushed to his house hearing his screams, Yashoda had breathed her last by then.

Badiyadka police arrived on the spot and conducted spot inspection. The body was shifted to Kasargod general hospital for post-mortem.

    So sad.If she wanted to suicide am sure would have earlier.Am sure something here is suspect.Did Police atleast before shifting the body investigate or any signs or asked neighbours?Hope it will be cleared soon.Heartfelt sympathy to family.What did another sister anything to say?May her soul rest in peace.
