Bantwal: Collision between goods truck, bike claims life of rider

Bantwal, Nov 16: A bike rider lost his life in a collision with a goods truck near Brahmarakootlu on the night of November 14.

The deceased is identified as Prateeksh Poojary (19), a resident of Byndoor. Sustaining severe injuries in the accident, Prateeksh was rushed to Thumbay Hospital. Unfortunately, the attending doctor declared him dead.

The complaint suggests that the truck driver, Kanakaraj, operated the vehicle negligently, resulting in the tragic accident.

Further investigation into the incident is being carried out by Bantwal traffic police.

    Very sad.young man of 19years lost life .Bantwal is a hot spot for accidents and crimes.One has to drive carefully.We cant give carelessness only one side .Heartfelt sympathy for the family.May his soul rest in Peace.With 19 years on a bike?
