Good man . Knew him as a student and then met him after a long hiatus of almost 3 decades when my child joined college in Mangalore. He recognised me immidiatley and offered any help we needed inspite of the huge gap . A rare quality iin the hustle and bustle of the modern world. I woke up at 3.30 AM this morning to read this sad news. May he have eternal peace and his family the strength to go through this sudden tragedy.

This news was indeed shocking. A life taken too soon. I had known GG since 6th std thru' PU. I had also met him last in May '22 during my visit to Mangalore. He's a wonderful human being with multitude of talents - a fine Urologist, a poet, a cartoonist, a musician (he played the Violin) and knew ragas like the back of his hands and mostly a great human. Mangalore has lost a great person and he will be missed not only by his patients, but also the larger community. May Lord Venkatramana bless his soul and give strength to all to bear this great loss. Om Shanti. Rest in Peace, GG.

Mangalore will miss a very talented urologist; above all a very wonderful human being! Years ago, he had done a TURP procedure on my late father! Wonder, being a highly qualified and knowledgeable doctor, he might been medically fit; how he got an MI at such an young age is shocking! My heartfelt condolences to his beloved family!! RIP doc; you will be sorely missed by the numerous patients who came in touch with you and smiled their way back home!!
