I Wish Salman Speedy Recovery: Shah Rukh

Mumbai, Aug 31 (IANS): Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan forgot his rivalry with Salman Khan on the occasion of Eid, and wished the 'Dabangg' star a speedy recovery.

Salman is in the US for the treatment of a nerve problem that has been causing excruciating pain in his head, cheeks and jaw. Shah Rukh hopes his "Karan Arjun" co-star gets relief soon.

"When anyone is unwell, we all feel unhappy. We all feel bad. I always pray that they get well very fast. It's a tougher time for the family than the patient. So I wish Salman a speedy recovery and I wish him all the best. He should come back soon," Shah Rukh told reporters here Wednesday.

Shah Rukh, who underwent knee surgery recently, compared Salman's ailing situation with his own.

"I've been injured three times. I know how it feels. It's not nice when you lead an active life inactively. Never in my life, would I want that anyone gets hurt or stay unwell," he added.

Salman and Shah Rukh were known to be very good friends until 2008 when both got into a tiff at actress and Salman's then girlfriend Katrina Kaif's birthday party. Ever since then, things have soured between them.
