Twelve Hours of Non-Stop Musical Treat


Mumbai, Sep 3 (IANS): Music lovers are in for a treat with bands like Indus Creed and artists like Gary Lawyer, Luke Kenny and Salil Bhatt, among others, performing here in a 12-hour live concert Sunday.

The Cry Freedom Concert boasts of as many as 18 bands from different parts of the country. Artist management company Indigo Live is organising the extravaganza in association with Hard Rock Cafe.

"We are extremely thrilled and excited to bring to you the Cry Freedom Concert," Shom Jagtiani, director and Chief Operating Officer, Indigo Live Pvt. Ltd., said in a statement.

UNAIDS, the United Nations programme on HIV/AIDS, will be supporting the concert, he added.

The bands and artists line-up includes Blackstratblues, Jazz Mac Duo, Adil & Vasundhara, D-Company, Chandresh Kudwa, Afflatus, Anushka Jagtiani, Spook, Jishnu Guha, Hoodwink Circle, Blakc and Ramone Ibrahim.

Renowned sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik will be designing a sand art depicting his views of freedom.
