Bantwal: Burglar strikes 12 shops, loots Rs 61000 from three stores

Bantwal, Dec 11: A burglar attempted to steal things from 12 shops at B C Road Kaikamba late night on Saturday. He stole Rs 61000 cash from three shops.

The thief took Rs 52000 cash from a mobile phone recharge shop at Kaikamba, Rs 6000 cash from a hotel and Rs 3000 cash from one more shop. He also attempted to enter the cooperative associations nearby.

The thief wore a helmet and arrived on a bike when it was raining on Saturday night. All his acts are captured on CCTV.

Police are on the lookout for the culprit.
