Bantwal: Man posing as customer steals mobile phone from wine shop

Bantwal, Dec 12: In a swift and audacious move, a man in the guise as a regular customer managed to pilfer a mobile phone from a wine shop near the bus stand in Vittal. 

The incident, captured on CCTV, unfolded as the thief, feigning interest in purchasing liquor, cunningly seized the opportunity when the shop staff momentarily stepped away to retrieve the requested items.

The surveillance footage reveals the thief's methodical execution as he entered the wine shop, placed an order, and deftly swiped the mobile phone from the table.

A case is registered in Vittal police station.
