Kadaba: One dead, two injured in scooter-car collision

Kadaba, Dec 16: In a late-night accident on December 15, a collision between a scooter and a car near Kalara Mosque in the taluk resulted in the death of the pillion rider of the scooter. The rider and another pillion rider sustained injuries.

According to the details provided by the complainant and the scooter rider, Chandrashekhar Rai (42), he was traveling with his children, Bipin Rai (13) and Athimisi Rai (10), as pillion riders. As they approached Kalara Mosque, a car driven in a negligent and rash manner by Parameshwara Bhat collided with the scooter.

The impact of the collision caused all three individuals on the scooter to fall onto the road. Tragically, Bipin Rai (13) passed away while being shifted to the hospital. Athmisi Rai is currently admitted to a private hospital in Puttur. Chandrashekhar Rai, the complainant and rider of the scooter, received first aid at Kadaba government hospital.

A case has been filed in connection with the incident at the Kadaba police station.

    This place has become a valley of death for two/three wheelers and innocent pedestrians/bystanders; people are fed-up of reading such news every day!! Only the travellers favourite Gods, Goddesses, or some divine Spirits can protect them!!
