Mangaluru: Harekala gambling den raided - Three arrested

Mangaluru, Dec 17: Konaje police successfully conducted a raid on a gambling den involving playing cards in Rajagudde, Harekala village, on Saturday, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the confiscation of their assets.

The arrested individuals are Anil D'Souza (45) from Gattikudru, Amblamogar, Hanif Muhammad (32) from Ullala Kodi Down Road, and Muhammad Nazim (20) from Jeppinamogaru. The operation was carried out based on information received by PSI Ashok.

The seized items include six packets of playing card leaves, Rs 6,750 in cash, a tarpaulin spread on the ground, a mobile phone, and a scooter, with an estimated total value of around Rs 63,750.

The Konaje police team, led by police inspector Balakrishna H N, included SI Nagaraj S, Puneet Gaonkar, Ashok, Vinod, ASI Sanjeev, Ganesh, Reshma, Santhosh K C, Suresh Talwar, and Prashanth, all of whom participated in the operation.
