Mangaluru, Dec 23: A Wizdom Higher Education Conclave & Fair organised by the Wizdom Institutions Network was held at the Ocean Pearl Hotel on Saturday December 23.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Arun Isloor, professor and HOD of chemistry department, NITK, Surathkal said, “Mangaluru city has proved itself in the education sector. The conclave here is the result of all the effort. Students can get information here on courses and also get internships. In addition, the financial help too. All under one roof. Hence, organising such an event in Mangaluru was important. It is my pleasure to be part of this event."

Walter Nandalike, founder and managing director of Daijiworld media said, “I am happy to see such an event organised in Mangaluru. In 1997, after getting married, I embarked on a journey to Dubai in pursuit of career opportunities. As I began my job search in the newspapers, I realized the preference for individuals with UK and US-based education. This realization sparked a determination within me to ensure a foreign education for my children. Over the years, I worked towards this goal, and eventually, I fulfilled my aspiration by sending my daughter abroad for her studies. Today, I am proud to share that she has successfully completed her education and is well-settled. The landscape of pursuing education abroad has evolved, making it more accessible, and organizations like Wizdom have played a pivotal role in facilitating this journey.”

Anand Pillai, director of Innovative Education University Liaisons said, “I'm delighted to see a substantial number of people gathered here. My sincere wish is for everyone to discover suitable universities during this conclave. My advice to all is to actively engage by asking numerous questions and seek answers for every query you may have.”

Dr Arun Bhagwath, principal and dean faculty of science at Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management said, "This event comes at the perfect moment. I have noticed that while some students possess passion and clear aspirations for their future, a significant number remain uncertain about their path. It is, therefore, the responsibility of educational institutions to provide courses that genuinely benefit all students.

“In the face of global challenges such as nuclear concerns, environmental issues, and technological disruptions, the world appears increasingly unstable. Making informed decisions that will truly contribute to one's future becomes paramount. When selecting a course or university, students should ensure that their choice remains relevant and valuable even a decade or more down the line,” he said.

Conclave director, Ace Ed, Dubai-UAE Abhilash Kshatriya, co-founder & CAO Wizdom Ed Dr Guru Tej, and founder & CEO Wizdom Ed Dr Francisca Tej were present.
