Sullia, Dec 24: A house in Kadusoranja, Mandekolu village, faced a devastating fire on Saturday evening, resulting in the loss of goods valued at Rs 3 lac.

The fire originated in the shed adjacent to Karunakara's house due to an electrical short circuit. The shed contained rubber sheets, coconuts, areca nuts, and various other items, all of which were reduced to ashes.

Quick action by fire service personnel, aided by locals, helped extinguish the flames and prevent further damage.
