The journey of Sisters Mary and Jennifer, said Fr Moraes, has been the synodal journey, a journey walked together with the family members and having responded to His call like the apostles walked together with Jesus the long 25 years of religious life. With Jesus, they carried on the work of Christ.

Fr Moraes, declared, it was the love of the crucified Lord that enabled them to persevere and remain faithful to the Lord through thick and thin, as he reminiscence when he had once asked a couple what was it that enabled them to celebrate the golden years of married life and they replied it was the crucified Lord.

He further continued saying, the renewal of their vows once again today is a sign of surrender of their lives to him to continue to remain faithful to the rest of their life, seeking the strength and grace, to give glory to him through their life of committed services by their way of life.
