Beltangady: Unregistered scanning machine seized from private hospital

Beltangady, Dec 28: In accordance with regulations, the health department seized a scanning machine that was being used without proper registration in a private hospital.

During the visit to the Beltangady Abhaya Hospital on Thursday December 28, district health officer Dr Timmayya, leading a team of officials, discovered that a scanning machine was in use without proper registration. Without delay, the health department seized the scanning machine that was being operated without the necessary registration, as per regulations.

District family welfare officer Dr Deepa Prabhu and others were part of the team.

In the coming days, the district health officer has cautioned that strict action will be taken against the unauthorized use of scanning machines.
