Mangaluru, Dec 30: CCB police arrested a person for illegal possession of MDMA on Saturday, December 30.
The arrested is identified as Mohammed Rameez (33), a resident of Ullal.
The arrest came following information that the accused was attempting to sell MDMA near a ground at Deralakatte.
During the arrest, 100 grams of MDMA with an estimated value of Rs 5 lac were seized, along with two mobile phones, a digital weighing machine, and other items, totalling Rs 5,11,000 in worth.
The accused, Mohammed Rameez, has previous cases registered at Konaje and Ullal police stations.
