Kannada Actress Nikita Thukran Faces Three-Year Ban

Bangalore, Sep 12: Kannada actress Nikita Thukral has been banned by Kannada Film Producers Association for her alleged involvement in bringing about a marital dispute between actor Darshan and his wife.

 Nikita, who is new to the Kannada film industry is now facing a three year ban following a police complaint filed by Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi accusing her of being responsible for their marital dispute.

Nikita, however, has rubbished all such charges claiming that she is innocent. She said, “I don’t know why an innocent girl is being dragged into a domestic dispute between a husband and wife. If anybody can prove I have a relationship with Darshanji, I will leave Kannada film industry. They have not taken my view at all before banning me.’’

Darshan is also alleged to have gifter Thukral a house in Mumbai. Nikita did not respond to this particular allegation.

Darshan has been arrested for assaulting his wife. Vijayalakshmi has been hospitalized with several injuries to her face and arms. On Saturday September 10, Darshan was admitted to a hospital after he complained of asthma, jaundice in jail.
