Bangalore, Sep 13: Kannada fim actress Nikita, who is blamed to be the main reason behind the marital dispute between tainted star Darshan and his wife Vijayalakshmi, in reaction to the allegations, has now demanded for proof to prove her guilty.
Nikita is alleged to have an affair with Darshan in turn has been accused by his wife of physical torture. Following a violent row between the husband and wife, both were admitted to a hospital with injuries.
Nikita too has now fallen ill following all the drama and criticism. The actress is reportedly suffering from high blood pressure.
Rumours began making rounds after Nikita and Darshan shot for a wedding scene in uncoming movie ‘Prince’. However, Nikita maintains that Darshan and she are friends and that she is on good terms with his wife.
Nikita has also been banned by the Kannada Producers' Association after Darshan’s wife filed a complaint against her accusing Nikita of being the main cause of the marital dispute. She said that she will soon discuss the matter with the association and senior artists.
She further has requested Darshan and his wife to clarify the rumours and allegations imposed on her as the allegations have marred her reputation.
Speaking about Nikita’s health, her sister Neetu, said, “The family doctor has said that rest and sleep are very essential for her at this stage. The past six months have been very stressful for our family as we lost our father. Even as we were trying to come to terms with the loss and console our mother, this news hit us. Nikitha is very upset about the whole incident."
Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi had earlier accused her husband of piercing her face with cigarette butts and hitting her with chappals and biting her ears too in a fit of rage. In her complaint she had also stated that he had threatened her at gun point. However, she has now taken back her complaint saying that she was injured after she had a fall in the bathroom. Even then Darshan could not avoid jail as an FIR was already registered.
Darshan, on the other hand, has been admitted to a hospital in treatment of various ailments like uneasiness, physical strain, acidity, asthma and initial stages of jaundice.
