While acting out a scene while shooting in Jaipur, actor Abhishek Bachchan was thrown out of an auto-rickshaw and ended up with mild injuries on his hands and legs.
The actor was taken to a private hospital immediately from where he left for Mumbai in a flight.
Abhishek was shooting for a sequence of his upcoming movie ‘Bol Bachchan’, written and directed by Rohit Shetty. The shooting has reportedly been called off soon after the accident.
Written and directed by Rohit Shetty, Bol Bachchan stars Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Asin, Prachi Desai and Archana Puran Singh.
Abhishek thanked his fans for their concern and explained his small tragedy on social networking site Twitter saying, “Had a fall whilst filming a small action sequence in Jaipur. Have come back to Mumbai now and will resume work at the earliest... I will be fine. Can't say the same for the rickshaw!!! Banged him up good! Hehe...Thank you again for all the get well soon messages. The show MUST and WILL go on. Lots of love and gratitude".
Amitabh Bachchan confirmed the news on his Twitter page, "T 496 - Abhishek's had an accident on set in Jaipur, has just flown back .. 6 stitches near eye .. Is well .. Will take some days to recover"
Abhishek has hurt himself in the past too. He had sprained his back badly while shooting for ‘Dum Maaro Dum’.
