Bahrain: KSB Champions Trophy – 2024 inaugurated

Bahrain, Jan 21: Inauguration of KSB Champions Trophy – 2024, soft ball floodlit cricket tournament, organized by state award winner Kannada Sangha of Bahrain, was officially held recently.

More than 50 women and men teams are taking part in the tournament which will be held for three weeks. The finals of the tournament will be held on January 26. Javagal Srinath, former pace bowler of Indian Cricket team and current ICC referee will be the chief guest of the final match. He will be felicitated by the Kannada Sangha on the same day at the Kannada Bhavana auditorium.

 

Indian Ambassador Vinod K Jacob will be the chief guest.

On Friday, January 26, final matches of women and men will be held at 5.30 pm sharp. Javagal Srinath will distribute the prizes for the winners. Spectacular cultural programmes are organized as part of the valedictory function of the tournament.

Mahesh Kumar, president of Kannada Sangha and office bearers of various organizations of the Island nation were present at the inauguration ceremony. Chief secretary of Kannada Sangha, Ramprasad Ammenadka welcomed. Sports secretary John Deepak will lead the tournament. D Ramesh is the coordinator.
